Sargent’s Drilling Utilities (SDU) is a collection of calculation tools developed to assist wellsite drilling supervisors in their daily operations. The utilities focus on clear input, transparent assumptions, and printable results.

The original SDU tools were created in Microsoft Excel and have been used on drilling rigs for many years. They are known for their simplicity and practical value in everyday decision making.

The current development work aims to preserve this straightforward approach while moving towards a web-based platform that offers easier access and modern visualization.
